This 100% Golden Safflower seed cylinder is excellent for squirrel prone areas, as squirrels generally don't like safflower. These cylinders are preferred by cardinals, grosbeaks and more. (Grackles, sparrows and starlings don't prefer safflower.) Golden Safflower is different than normal safflower seed because it's higher in oil content, higher in protein, and higher in fat - making it more desirable to birds! Attracts birds much more quickly than suet and without the problem of melting in the summer heat. Great for year-round bird feeding.
