This steel and aluminum front shelf adds over 280 square inches (for Searwood 600) or 425 square inches (for Searwood 600 XL) of extra work space and accommodates up to 30 lbs of food and BBQ necessities including tools, platters, and cutting boards. Then, during those times it's not in use, it conveniently folds down.
