Replacing some or all of the forage can provide more control over the starch and sugar in the horse’s diet. High-quality hay is incorporated into the pellets, the feed can be used to completely replace the forage in your horse’s diet or as a hay stretcher when quality hay is scarce. Scientifically shown to support gastric health and comfort and proper pH. Senior blends feature Purina's ActivAge Prebiotic formula, scientifically studied in senior horses to support optimal function of the aging immune system and optimal mobility in aged horses. The senior blends are also easier to chew for horses with worn or missing teeth.
